Terms of Service
The terms under which HotelByte provides hotelbyte.com, the HotelByte platform capabilities licensed to you, and the GoTry Session Bridge extension and local tools. Plain-language summaries; the numbered sections are the operative terms.
1. Agreement and changes
These Terms govern your use of hotelbyte.com, the HotelByte platform capabilities exposed to you, the GoTry Session Bridge browser extension, and the GoTry local tools, provided by HotelByte ("we"). By using them you accept these Terms. Material changes are posted on this page with a new effective date; continued use after changes means acceptance.
2. What the services are
HotelByte operates a multi-tenant hotel API distribution platform for business customers. The GoTry Session Bridge extension and GoTry local tools are optional convenience components that run on your own equipment and browser, bridging your own signed-in sessions to the platform you are licensed to use.
3. Your responsibilities
Use the services only with accounts, credentials, and entitlements that are lawfully yours. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party portal or travel site you sign in to, and for using automated assistance in a manner those terms permit.
Do not use the services to infringe intellectual property, bypass access controls, or violate applicable law. The extension relays data only to your own machine or your licensed HotelByte portal; do not repurpose it to exfiltrate data to third parties.
4. Extension-specific terms
The extension handles credential payloads in memory only and discards them after use; we do not warrant uninterrupted capture on third-party portals whose markup or behavior may change at any time. The extension is provided as-is and may be updated or discontinued; you may uninstall it at any time.
5. Fees and payment
Platform usage is governed by your commercial agreement with HotelByte. Where checkout is completed through Paddle, Paddle acts as payment processor and its terms apply to the payment itself; our pricing and billing terms apply to the underlying service.
6. Intellectual property
HotelByte retains all rights in the platform, API, documentation, architecture, and the GoTry components. These Terms grant a limited, revocable right to use the services for their intended purpose and transfer no ownership. See our public notice on platform rights for the current enforcement position.
7. Warranties, liability, and termination
The services are provided without warranties of availability, accuracy of third-party data, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms; sections that should survive termination do so.
